SLA uses a laser to cure a photopolymer in a vat.

The laser tracks across the surface of the liquid, drawing a cross section of the printed object.

Layers aren't fully cured, allowing for chemical bonding to occur between layers when the laser is applied.

Support structures are needed in the liquid. Post processing involves removal of support structures and further curing.
